What is coaching? Say you want to learn to ride a bike...

A consultant will give you detailed instructions on how to ride a bike and leave you with an operators manual to figure it out.

A counselor will help you deconstruct your relationship with the bike. Ask if you have a history with bikes, what they have meant to you & how they make you feel.

A coach will stand next to you, holding the handle bars if needed, asking which way you want to go & how fast, coaching you along the way and when you're ready a coach will let go and you’ll ride! Your coach will cheer for you! When you wipe out (because life is filled with wipeouts) they will help you brush yourself off and get you back on the bike before fear is allowed to take over.

Do you want to go for a ride? Together we can figure out what fulfills you and brings you energy and joy. We can map out the destination you’re seeking. Set your goals. Start pedaling... You never know where you might end up! What I know for sure is that you’ll never regret going for the ride.

A sea of bikes the morning before my half ironman. this wouldn’t have been possible if i hadn’t been the recipient of powerful coaching.

I had two coaches that totally shifted my life’s course.

One was Laura Neff and the other was Ronni Fridman. I wanted to be like them when I grew up. I enrolled in Coaches Training Institute’s Coaching Certification program, and it was the best investment I’ve ever made. It provided me with tools to be an intuitive connected coach and the side benefit was that I also learned how to be a better mom, partner and friend.

I went into this work hoping to coach non-profit leaders. The universe has delivered some of the most amazing clients. I’ve coached authors, businessmen and women, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, photographers, scientists and so many in between. Client confidentiality won’t permit me to share more than that, other than the testimonial quotes they were willing to share for this site, but I will tell you my proudest coaching was when a client said, “I became a mom because of you. I never would have started the adoption process if you had not asked one simple question, ‘What are you waiting for?’ and gently nudged and cheered for me along the way. We walked through some disappointments, but it all worked out the way it was meant to.”

The idea that two little girls in foster care now have two phenomenal parents as a result of some of my coaching completely rocks my world. (No offense to any of my other clients, because I truly have loved watching all of you grow and launch.)

“Meg's deep commitment to my growth me made it feel safe to explore the uncomfortable places and move beyond my comfort zone. She made it safe and her excitement for me made it compelling to keep going far beyond where I could go alone.”
