I met Meg when I attended a Women Faith & Story / Vision Board workshop, and I was impressed by her positivity and ideas. Fast forward a few months, my vision board wasn’t done and I was struggling with life in general, and Meg offered to talk. During our first conversation, she provided some observations and insight that floored me. Once we started meeting regularly, I realized she could listen, help me process, support, and hold me accountable to make some big and scary changes in my life.

Meg told me the big difference between therapy and coaching is that therapy helps you look backward to understand how you ended up where you are, but coaching helps you look forward to figuring out where you are going. I consider her coaching as ‘helping me to get unstuck’. I appreciate that she will send me book recommendations or inspiration, and give me a quick pep talk in between sessions if needed. I credit her encouragement for making me a more centered and genuinely happier person.

The coaching Meg provided over the course of a year gave me the confidence and courage to face a significant transition at work head-on. She was both my biggest cheerleader and also the person who asked me the toughest questions. This helped me to grow in my self-awareness, to dream bigger, and to accomplish more than I thought possible. She coached me as a whole person; although I sought assistance for a work challenge, my personal life improved as well with her help.
